I am at war to keep great people skills, traditions and values alive in the 21st century.

That's why I've started a place to share tangible, simple, mini-lessons that will help build our kids into outstanding adults.

And if not, they'll have memories of one corny mom! That's a win-win, I'd say.

Labor Day Traditions - Homeade Ice Cream

Labor Day has too many meanings for people….the end of summer, the beginning of hunting season, the Kick Off of College Football (what we live for HUGE at my house!), neighborhood barbeques, final campouts, or maybe just a day off work.

One thing I love about Labor Day? Homeade Ice Cream. You know, the delicacy of summer that you intend to make all through out the summer and find yourself making once. When it’s Labor Day and you’ve realized what a summer failure you were. Alas! You are redeemed!

I found this recipe over at Kevin & Amanda’s. BEST part = No Ice-Cream Machine required. Love it!
